Space Escapers

An arcade shooting game, where the space invaders are now the space escapers. Shoot to bring them back!

GMTK Game Jam 2023 submission, theme: Roles Reversed.

How to play:
A/D, Left/Right arrows - Move left and right
Up arrow, W, Left mouse click - Shoot
Escape - End game

Tips:
- Bigger enemies require more shots to bring down.
- More blobs on enemies bring them down faster, max 10 blobs per enemy. Improves our line of sight!
- Earn one life back (minus 1 escaped, if more than 0) at every 25 score points.

Notes:
- HTML5 (embedded web game) only tested on Chrome browser. First time exporting to this format, fingers crossed it works! ;)
- Linux and MacOS builds not tested at all, exported as is.
